Good Eats Day News: Lunenburg County Land & Water Activism

April 18 @ 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM

Join us for an evening of moderated presentations In honour of Earth Day. Representatives from five local volunteer groups will speak about the work they’re doing to protect our local lands and waters. We’ll hear from members of Ne’ata’q:The Food Forest at Bluenose Academy, Kingsburg Coastal Conservancy, South Shore Council of Canadians, Asitul’isk Indigenous Learning Centre (former Windhorse Farm) and SOOF Lunenburg County (Save Our Old Forests). They will each share a brief presentation about current projects. It’s a great opportunity to find out more about local initiatives, how to can get involved in protecting and supporting our local environment, and how we can all work together to care for the planet.
