From its home base in Lunenburg, for the past 25years the Barque Picton Castle has been operating as a sail training ship, having almost 400,000 nautical miles under square sail. Casting off in late 2024, the Barque Picton Castle will set sail on a year-and-a-half long voyage, Around The World ByWay of Cape Horn, on a sail training voyage like none before.
