This topic will cover the negative impacts associated with reduced aquatic connectivity and mitigation measures to reduce the risk of further spread of AIS when improving fish passage through barriers such as improperly installed culverts. ATLANTIC WHITEFISH RECOVERY Tuesday, November 19, 6:30 pm

Join the Species at Risk & Biodiversity Team to talk about the endangered Atlantic whitefish, found only in Nova Scotia! We will discuss the background and threats of this unique species and Coastal Action’s recovery efforts in the Petite Rivière watershed, including invasive species mitigation, habitat and food monitoring, and helping to rebuild the population.
