Start 2025 off by learning the basics of mindfulness and meditation to engage in your life in a more balanced and grounded way. Each week will consist of a talk, a guided meditation, a question and response period, and an opportunity for group connection and reflection. The topics will touch on the foundations of mindfulness so attendance to each session is recommended. However, instruction will be given so that even if you haven’t attended the prior sessions, you will still be able to learn and participate.. Facilitated by Carly Wedge, Support Counsellor, Second Story Women’s Centre. Participants are welcome to bring their lunch

Week 3: Self-Compassion – Tuesday, January 21, 12:30-1:30 pm
Week 4: Mindful Self-Therapy using “RAIN” – Tuesday, January 28, 12:30-1:30 pm
Week 5: Mindfulness as a Tool in Times of Stress- February 4, 12:30-1:30 pm
Week 6: Gratitude – February 11, 12:30-1:30 pm
