Adopt-A-Book 2009

South Shore Public Libraries' annual fundraising campaign began on October 21st. Adopt-A-Book is your chance to give a gift to book lovers in your community and beyond. You'll help South Shore Public Libraries buy books that will be available to everyone. Drop into your local library to see the selection or make your donation online through Canada Helps and the Library can choose an item on your Canada Helps logobehalf.


Your donation counts
In 2008/09, the Library added 9,339 new books to its collection. Over 400 were paid for with Adopt-A-Book donations, making the Library's main fundraiser an important part of the Library's Book Budget. Please continue to help.


$100 will sponsor 3 new books
$500 will sponsor 15 new books
$50/month will sponsor 18 new books
$1,000 will fill a shelf (approximately 30 new books)

Donations are accepted through credit card, cash or cheque. You can also download and print this form if you wish to mail your donation.
