Requests and Renewals

Requesting Items and Placing Holds

You can request an item can and place a "hold" on it for pickup at any local library location, or add your name to a waiting list for express read (1 week) items. You can do this online by browsing the catalogue. Follow the directions, you may also see what holds you have placed by viewing your patron record. Library staff will contact you when your item is available for pick up. You must pick up your hold within seven days or the hold will be cancelled.

Renewing

Most items may be renewed. If no one else is waiting for the items you have borrowed, you may renew them one time. You can renew by telephone at 543-2548 or with your online account. Check your account (the default PIN is the last 4 digits of your phone number), then click "View All Items Checked Out to You", and follow the instructions for renewal. Please note, patrons must phone to renew interlibrary loan(s) at least 7 days before the item(s) is/are due.
